Baseriend auf der Jugendbuch-Trilogie von Ex-Profifootballer Trevor Pryce erzählt die Animationsserie von den Bewohnern der „Amphibilands“. Beschützt von einer Elitegruppe von giftigen Fröschen namens Kulipari und durch einen Zauber des Schildkrötenkönigs konnten die Tiere dort stets friedlich leben. Doch der Friede wird bedroht durch die böse Spinnenkönigin und ihren Verbündeten Lord Marmoo, den Anführer der Skorpione. Während die Gefahr immer größer wird, träumt der junge Frosch Darel davon, den Kulipari beizutreten – obwohl er kein Gift besitzt und seine Kampffähigkeiten noch sehr zu wünschen übrig lassen. Aber mit Hilfe seiner Freund gibt er alles, um seinen Traum zu verwirklichen.
